2. Description of Service
btcswapxmr.com provides a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange service facilitating swaps between Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR). We do not hold user funds beyond the brief period required to process an exchange. The service charges a 0.15% fee per transaction.
- Minimum exchange amount: 0.004 BTC / 0.5 XMR
- Maximum exchange amount: 10 BTC / 3,000 XMR per order
- Exchange rate is floating and locked at time of blockchain confirmation
- Orders expire after 24 hours if no deposit is received
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to OFAC sanctions, including but not limited to North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, and the Crimea region of Ukraine. You are responsible for compliance with all local laws applicable to your use of the Service.
4. No Registration or KYC
This Service does not require registration, account creation, or identity verification to use. We do not collect personal identifying information. However, depending on your jurisdiction, you may have independent legal obligations regarding cryptocurrency transactions. We do not provide legal advice and strongly recommend consulting a qualified advisor if you have questions about your obligations.
5. Exchange Rate and Fees
Exchange rates are sourced from the CoinGecko API and reflect the current market mid-price at the time your deposit receives one blockchain confirmation. The 0.15% service fee is deducted from the output amount. Network fees for the outgoing transaction are included in our service fee. Exchange rates are floating and may differ from the estimate shown at order creation.
6. Non-Refundable Transactions
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature. Once your deposit has been confirmed on the blockchain and the exchange processed, we cannot reverse, cancel, or refund the transaction. If you send the wrong currency, the wrong amount, or to an expired address, recovery may not be possible. We are not liable for user errors.
In cases where a technical error on our part causes a failure to deliver the correct output amount, contact support immediately with your order ID and transaction hash.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use this Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- To process proceeds of criminal activity, including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, ransomware proceeds, or terrorism financing
- To circumvent sanctions programs
- To attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service
- To use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service
We cooperate with law enforcement investigations and may provide information about transactions where required by valid legal process.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, btcswapxmr.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in connection with the transaction giving rise to the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy of exchange rate information displayed on the site.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with general principles of international commercial law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
